Awesome video, Layla and great content. It’s definitely worth it to take a minute or 2 to visit someone’s facebook profile to see what they’re about and to see if there is something you have in common with them.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Hey Layla,
Great video. I really enjoyed what you had to share and it is truly a valuable tip.

It is a very simple thing to do but adds a person touch to the message that pretty much everyone likes. People hate spam and having people copy and paste messages to them, and using the method you have given here, people will definitely see an increase in responses just as you said.

Thank you for adding value to myself and everyone.

I agree, cut and paste emails are basically useless unless they are short, and personalized.

    Layla…

    Layla,

This is great information as always. I think it all comes down to people want to feel important and special and you hit that right on the head.

I remember one of my mentors saying imagine everyone you meet has a sign on their forehead that says “make me feel important, make me feel good about myself.”

I totally agree with what you are saying about the message you got. Come on, people, wake up! You really think people will respond to something that you can tell was cut and paste?

I always love it when men send me messages (for some reason I get a lot of them) about how they think I am pretty and then go on to talk about themselves and how they would like to get to know me. If they just read my profile, they would find out I am married. I guess some use it for a dating site, but I think if someone even had a chance to catch a woman’s attention who was open to dating, they may want to take some time to look at their profile and comment on something, like you said.

Thanks, Layla! Keep up the great work!

    Karen

Thanks for this tip Layla and I hope people take your advice to make it more personal. There is no way I am going to waste my time to read an email that goes on forever! Thanks again.

    Hey Layla,
You hit the nail on the head with this video. So many people do this and I’m guilty for that as well but I always make sure that the message is made personal by changing the name or topic that is specific to them.
Thank You So Much for your leadership.

    Happy Monday Layla,

I’ve learned this trick from you prior to this post and it is amazingly powerful! You are so right – when you take a few extra seconds to personalize your Facebook messages and focus on opening the door to building relationships – PEOPLE DO RESPOND! Thanks as always for your leadership.

Great tip Layla, always bring the value. So many are just copying and pasting. I need to take more time to connect with more people on a personal level. Thanks again for sharing Layla

Hey Toby & Layla: Great content as usual. Making sure you are heard out there in the online noise. Value, content, value. Thanks for another stellar moment.
