We bet that if you go to your microwave right now you would see something like “00:13″ still flashing on the screen.
So not only do we want our food cooked in 3 minutes, but we can’t even wait the entire 3 minutes!
We pop the door open with 13 seconds left.
Think of your MLM business like a Prime Rib Roast. Would you pop it in the microwave and expect succulent and melt in your mouth results?
Or does it need time, effort and care to create a masterpiece and have the end product we’d expect from a Prime Rib Roast?
This industry isn’t a lottery ticket, and whoever gave you that impression was severely misinformed.
If you want 100 leads a day it is going to take time and work.
Toby and I often talk about branding yourself on the Internet. What does that really mean and what’s it going to take?
It means that you have to create a presence for yourself and the only way to make that happen is with some dedicated hard work. Creating a blog is a good starting point. Yes you want high conversion rates on your capture pages and auto-responders and lists, BUT you need somewhere where people can see the true you. A blog tells people you are more than a video on a capture page, you are someone that invests time and knowledge back into the industry.
Consistency and Persistency are our 2 favourite words.
If you are providing value to Forums and Social Media Sites on a consistent basis, people will begin to recognize that. However if you blast Facebook with your capture pages for 4 days straight (The Microwave Method) and are hoping for the leads to start pouring in and suddenly on Day 5 you will wake up to 14 voicemails from people wanting to join your business… you will be sadly disappointed.
So don’t treat your MLM home based business like a Hot Pocket that you can set to cook for 3:00 minutes and it will be ready. If you want to see real MLM online success, and you want to have more business leads than time… put some TLC into that Prime Rib Roast and the results will be delicious.

If you are happy buying 1000 MLM leads and finding maybe 10 people to talk to, and if you don’t mind flushing your hard earned cash down the toilet, then keep buying your leads.

As I clicked through them, decline, decline, decline… nothing stood out to me.

I was absolutely shocked that not one single person had bothered to include a personalized message actually inviting me to the group or showing me any value.
Some of you may not get invited to quite as many groups as I do, but out of 250 invitations there wasn’t one person that bothered to include a message. How many people include a personal message on the invitations you receive? None probably.
You don’t have to write a personal message to each person… but once you’ve invited all of your contacts and you see that little box at the bottom that says “Add a Personal Message”… do that! Add a personal message!

- Never talk or write something bad about a company or a product or a person. Even though the internet has 1,668,870,408 users on it it’s still a small place. Meaning word can travel fast about social media and search engines if you are talking bad about something or someone.

Mistake #1: Our friend Nick (who’s last name shall remain a mystery) does not even have a Picture. We are in the relationship business and people cannot build trust with a white silouette on a light grey background. People do business with people they know, like, trust. Get a Picture in your Facebook Profile, if it’s the least you can do.
Mistake #2: Is his comment relevant to the current discussion? Don’t throw a business pitch for your MLM home business anywhere there’s an empty text box. Read the content you are posting on and offer insightful feedback. We generate a solid amount of leads for our MLM business just from adding value in our comments.

Mistake #3: I did a quick word count and nearly 700 Words. No one is going to read a comment post on a wall that is 700 words. If writing an article, the suggested length is between 400 and 700 words. This is for a full value packed article on your blog and other article directories, not a 1 inch comment box. This comes back to the fact that we are Professional Internet Marketers… not the used car salesman. Be the invited guest.

MLM or the Home Based Business Arena has been around for over a hundred years. In those years over 48,000 companies have been started. Only 4800 remain today with a new MLM home business program starting nearly every day. Out of those 4800 only 9 have made it to the billion dollar mark.
MLM and “How It Works”
MLM’s structure is designed to create a marketing active sales force by compensating promoters of company products not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of other promoters they introduce to the company, creating a downline of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation.
Products and companies would traditionally market directly to consumers and potential business partners by means of relationship referrals and word of mouth marketing. This way of marketing your MLM business is still very effective but in this day and age you can not forget the internet.
Some examples of traditional methods of marketing your MLM home business would be:
The 3 feet rule: This is where anyone that comes within 3 feet of you. You give the routine of some general questions to “FORM” them. “FORM” stand for Family. Occupation, Recreation, Motivation. By doing this you find out if they are interested or if they are in need of a home MLM business.
Hotel Meetings: This is where a successful person within your upline or company will do a basic overview of the home business opportunity and the product or service.
Conference Calls: A Conference is the same as a Hotel Meeting but instead of inviting individuals to a hotel you simply ask them to “get on a conference call” from home.
Now these ways of marketing your MLM home business are great and do produce results. But for the majority of home business owners these methods don’t work.
Notbecause they didn’t try hard enough. Not because they weren’t dedicating time for their home business. It’s simply because it’s not in their personality type.

There are four main personality types. 2 out of the 4 just won’t do it. No matter what you say they just won’t try it.
