So now, the topic at hand…. does that Rollercoaster ride remind you of anything? How about the Ups and Downs that we all experience in Network Marketing?
The reason I wanted to touch on this topic is because I used to be a frequent rider of that Emotional Rollercoaster. I would get so attached to helping new team members, and then blame myself when they decided to quit.
Who else knows what I’m talking about?
So how can you avoid the Up and Down Loop de Loops that you’re experiencing right now?
The first step is finally realize that no matter what you do or how perfect you try to be, there will ALWAYS be ups and downs
Secondly is to understand that it is all part of the journey. You cannot achieve Success without first experiencing Failure.
A very smart and successful man in this industry told me while were at Sea on one of the Cruises we’ve won… that to avoid getting nauseous and sea sick from the ups and downs of the ocean…
YOU MUST FOCUS ON THE HORIZON.
The constant, never swaying horizon is the cure for wobbly legs. SO, it made me think… when I am riding this Emotional Rollercoaster how can I stop the nausea? I have to find my constant.
What is your Horizon in your life? What’s the never changing factor that keeps you going and keeps you pushing forward through choppy water?
Is it your daughter?
Is it your parents?
Is it your spouse?
Find your horizon and steady your feet. Nothing is going to change the ups and downs, but the way you let them effect you can be changed.

We are talking about a powerful technique that we learned from Tony Robbins.
Framing.
There are 3 parts to framing which are, Pre Framing, Re Framing and De Framing.
But today is going to be on one part of framing and that is Pre-Framing…
Before we get into the nuggets of wisdom, there are only two things you are trying to change in a person to get a sale. One is the behaviour they have towards your product or service, if it is negative. The other is there feelings on your product or service, again if they are negative…
And that’s it…
Ok Toby what is Pre Framing?
Pre Framing – Telling someone in advance what to pay attention to and what it’s going to mean when they hear, see or experience it.
Pre framing is the most powerful way to influence the way people think.
The most powerful people on this earth at influencing the way people feel, don’t spend there time working on there structure of the request or how to ask for things, but the way they set things up in advance of the request.
So the most important part of trying to change someones feelings of beliefs on a subject, is the build up and NOT the actual question you ask.
Ok that is powerful..How do I use it…
You can pre frame your prospects by asking specific questions in advance to the closing questions and by so you are leading them and pointing there feelings in the direction you have already choosen.
For example if someone is skecpital I would say “I don’t know if this is making sense to you, it’s kind of basic but what the heck why don’t you try it?”
You have said exactly what they are thinking.. SO POWERFUL!!!
Also some other examples could be-
” Are you following this?” or
“Is this making sense to you?” or
“Do you see yourself building this business successfully?”
Guys this stuff is Golden… If you like this kind of teachings, we suggest heading over to amazon and picking up some stuff from Anthony Robbins or anything on NLP.
Think about this subject long and hard today. Make a point to practice some pre framing questions through out your day. Not only for your business but in other aspects of your life 2…

How can you shape your destiny?
“It’s in your moments of Decision that you Shape Your Destiny.” – Anthony Robbins
So what are the 3 Decisions that Shape Absolutely everything in your life?
What You Focus On. We feel what we focus on. Where focus goes Energy Flows. So you can focus on the past vs. the future or the risk vs. the reward… but whatever you decide to focus on will effect your emotional state.
What Does It Mean? Meaning is the Answer. The meaning we give something will effect how we react, feel, and move forward. For Example do you see a situation as God Punishing or Rewarding you, You Deserve it, or as a Challenge. All very different meanings.
The Actions We Take. This is one of the most important Decisions we make. Will we pull back or push forward, will we give up or break through?!
If you want to have a handle on your Destiny and start taking control….. We have some homework for you
Think of a time in your life when you felt UNSTOPPABLE. Now go through the 3 Decisions you made when you felt that way…
Now compare that…
To a time when you felt deflated and demotivated. Think about the 3 Decisions you made in that situation.
How do they differ?

There are 3 Filters that effect us.Understanding Human Needs, Understanding Human Beliefs, Understand the Emotions That You Become Habitually Addicted.
So what are the 6 Human Needs?
(Keep in Mind that Any Thought, Belief or Behaviour that sustains 3 or more of these Needs becomes a habit.)
Certainty: Some people need that Certainty that they can avoid pain and have comfort or pleasure. How do people get certainty? Example 1: Work Really Hard to Master Something So There is No Uncertainty That YOU Are the Best! Example 2: Lower Your Expectations. If you’re certain that it won’t work anyway you satisfy this need.
Uncertainty: We Need Variety to Feel Alive. How do people get variety? Anything that changes your state. Different Foods, a new book, having a conversation with someone new.
Significance: To Feel Unique, Important, and Special. EVERYONE has these needs, but what Beliefs about how to meet this need? Example 1: Servingand making a difference in the world Example 2: Dominating
Connection: Love is in our DNA. Do you meet the need for connection in Neutral ways, Negative Ways, or Empowering Ways.
These 4 are the Needs of the Personality… EVERYONE FINDS a Way to meet the first 4 Needs in someway but Not Everyone Meets the Last 2. The Ultimate Needs.
Growth: Everything in the world is growing or dieing. It’s a constant process ocuring in life. Reason that we grow is to satisfy the next Need…
Contribution: We GROW so we have something to give. What makes you feel alive is to know it’s MORE than just you. You are making a meaningful impact on others.
ONLY Difference in People is: Which of these needs do you value MOST?
Anthony Robbins asked us to look inside of ourselves and really evaluate which 2 Needs we feel we Value Most…. So we want to show you that EVEN L4′s (wink wink) do their Homework.
Layla: My Top 2 Needs That I Value Most are Probably Connection & Contribution. I feel the most important part of life is the connections we make. But sometimes my need for Love makes me a bit of a softy LOL. I am a recovering Nice Girl as Mr. Combs would say. Contribution is my Ultimate Need. I want to know that I made an impact on as many people as Possible!
Toby: I do Value Certainty, I want to work hard to be sure that my family will be taken care of and enjoy life. I also truly value growth and constantly striving to be a better person, a better leader, and a better partner to Layla.

“And the Reason,” Jerry Clark says “that most people fail at being successful is because they are only using ONE Prong.”
Last night, on the Cedrick Harris Sunday Night Conference Call, Jerry Clark an Industry Legend shared some of his mindset tips with us. Jerry Clark has coached thousands in many industries. He personally coached Todd Falcone, Jeffrey Combs, Myron Golden, Dr. Ellie Drake, and our very own Cedrick Harris.
Toby and I had our notepads going and this one Golden Gem of information absolutely WOWed us!
You know one of those moments that a light bulb goes off in your head and you think to yourself, “Wow, he is SO right!” So we decided to share our “Aha” moment with everyone else too!
What is the One Prong that most people focus on?
1. The Technical Know How: A lot of people think if you just give them the know how, if you just tell them how to do it… then they will be successful. This might be accurate if the human was a logical being. However since 80% of our decisions are based on EMOTION, logic is a small percentage in comparison. Isn’t it true though? Every single day we have people asking us to just tell them the exact steps we did and they can duplicate what we’ve done…. But is it that simple? This is the prong that most people focus on…. but if you start using ALL THREE prongs you will see a Massive spike in results!
2. Master Internal Communication: This is how you communicate with YOURSELF. This is where the Power of Vision comes in to play. Whatever vision you have will attract the vehicle to you to make it true. For Example: A vision of just “getting by” will attract the vehicle of a Job to you. When Toby and I started using MyLeadSystemPro to build our business online, there was no “I hope this works” internal dialogue. We just kept telling ourselves and each other “We will do whatever it takes to MAKE this work!” That’s the difference in your Internal Communication.
When Jerry used this analogy last night, Toby & I both looked at each other because it had the exact same impact on us both simultaneously!
“You don’t plant a seed… and show up and expect to harvest it the next day or even the next Month! You also don’t show up on Harvest season and expect a huge harvest when you haven’t tended to the crops, you haven’t fertilized, watered them, or nurtured them in any way.”
3. Master External Communication: This is How you Communicate with other people. This prong is critical for success because you have to be able to understand the Dreams, Fears, Hopes, Pains, Motivations, Desires of people in your Target Market. Who is your Target Market? You must learn techniques on understanding and influencing Human Nature.
If you treat all situations in life with this “Three Prong Approach” you’ll immediately see a difference in the results you obtain. We challenge you to think about your actions, your decisions, your mindset and ask yourself “Am I using all three Prongs consistently?”
