- Wow. Thanks for the feed back Lavinia! It absolutely does show you that even when people have all the best tools and training right in front of them, if they aren’t willing to invest the time to learn…. they are just another “Nick”

Not only that, but the all-too-obvious cut-&-paste shows un-professionalism as well.
There is a glaringly distinct and easy to spot difference between Nick-the-faceless’ writing style and the style of whoever actually wrote the information about the product. Nick isn’t nearly even a fraction so eloquent himself, nor is he even tactful (being honest, not mean).
I find it awkwardly amusing when people seem to believe that other folks don’t have the power to perceive the particular way that people express themselves and communicate. People DO notice, which is why letting cut-&-paste speak for you is a great way to lose respect, credibility, and prospective partners and customers.

Very good post…and well said! I hate it when people do that…so unprofessional and rude!
I had a case the other day on linkedin where I posted an article, and an individual of the same breed as Nick ‘no surname’ decided to pitch her business under my article and WITHOUT even writing a comment relating to my article/discussion in the first instance. I was not best pleased! And to top it off, when I looked at her profile I saw that she is/was a student of MLSP!! So even more shocking! It just goes to show some of us, in this industry, are willing to learn and develop ourselves whilst others aren’t.
